International federation of Asian and African trade unions
Before I start my speech, I extend my sincere thanks, appreciation and reverence to my brothers workers and trade unionists in the continents of Asia, Africa and everywhere, with a union greeting to those who were role models in achieving the highest qualities and characteristics, and to live in harmony, peace and brotherhood as they direct their energies to work, production, development and growth. For workers of more than hundreds of millions from the two continents, Asia and Africa, who speak many languages and dialects, and adhere to different religions and beliefs; But they believed that their real strength lies in the organization to achieve their will in power, solidarity and the group to achieve their similar interests due to the similarity of their conditions and the endeavor to improve their wages and working conditions and raise the level of workers. Health, application of occupational safety standards and raising levels of training, all of this as a tool for developing social conditions.
Therefore, we established this union on the basis of an important principle, which is to move from the individual effort to the collective effort to ensure that the rights of workers on the two continents are preserved in the face of another party that has the power and ability to control. It is represented in the possession of the means of production and capital.
It is dedicated to a set of principles and foundations that govern the work of the Union, represented in combating discrimination in employment and occupation, the right of our society to freedom, security, economic and social well-being, and working to defend economic workers. Social rights, strengthening trade union structures in the two continents, providing decent work for all, working to eliminate all forms of forced labor and effectively eliminating child labor by combating poverty and corruption to reach a fair and equitable globalization in order to move forward towards more respect for human dignity.
We appeal to everyone who has a living conscience in this world and the global labor movement to provide all forms of support and support to our federation in order to defend trade unions and labor freedoms as a means of advancing in the field of social justice and ensuring the sustainability of development through concern for the economic and social interests of workers.
