President of the International Federation of Asian and African Trade Unions Holds a Meeting with the Head of the Libyan House of Representatives Administration in Benghazi

Today, Monday, the President of the International Federation of Asian and African Trade Unions and the First Deputy President of the Asian-African Parliamentary Council, Mr. Saud Rashid Al-Hujailan, together with the Secretary-General of the Council, Mr. Fayez Al-Shawabkeh, held a meeting with the Head of the Administration of the Libyan House of Representatives, Mr. Abdullah Al-Masri Al-Fadil, to discuss arrangements and preparations for the Asian-African Parliamentary Conference scheduled to be held in Benghazi.

At the beginning of the meeting, which was attended by the Deputy Head of the Administration, Dr. Rasmi Balrouin, and the Parliamentary Affairs Advisor, Mr. Ahmed Al-Hashash, the Head of the Administration welcomed the delegation, highlighting the importance of Benghazi hosting this international event, which reflects the city’s readiness to host regional and international events.

He also stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation between African and Asian parliaments, noting that this conference contributes to consolidating parliamentary partnership and expanding prospects for joint cooperation among member states.
